A couple of notes on the future of myself, and of this site:

-I've been trying to get video from my recital posted on this site for a while now. Unfortunately, I'm not as tech-savvy as I thought, and it's proving to be a difficult process. Nonetheless, it will happen, so stay tuned.

-Last week I played at an art gallery with Oliver Newell's group. The music was great, and the atmosphere was really fun, if for no other reason than Oliver's energy and his outfit. We're trying to get together a few more performances for that band - a few of which have made it onto the calender section - but things are changing with those performances. Check back, and come see a show with this group.

-The photo section of this site has been updated. There are some great pictures from the CalArts recording at Capitol Records thanks to David Tranchina. I also put up the fliers from my recitals at CalArts. Always crowd pleasers.

-Finally, I'm getting ready to graduate from CalArts with an MFA in Jazz Saxophone. No idea what's next, but this will definitely be kept up.

I've been going through the website updatings content following my recital on March 8. The concert went well, and I'm very happy with the compositions, and especially the band. Ochion Jewell, Kevin Fukagawa, Sam Minaie, Matt Mayhall, and Josh Aguiar all did an amazing job with some very challenging music. I can't thank them enough.

CalArts Jazz is once again preparing a recording project, and it looks as though I'll be playing Clarinet and Flute on two songs for that. We should be recording at Capitol Records in early April.

There are a few more events coming up in the future, so stay tuned for those. Hopefully I'll be able to post some videos from my recital soon, so be on the lookout for that.
